Tarsar Marsar Trek
The Tarsar Marsar Trek starts at Aru village which is 100 km away from Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir. The best time to visit the Tarsar Marsar lake is during the autumn months because just after the monsoon the lake is filled with its capacity making it the most beautiful site to witness. On the first day of your trek you will start from Aru village towards Lidderwat river, which is 10 kilometers away. The trick goes through the lush green mountains along with the pine trees and rhododendrons.
After a camp on the banks of Lidderwat river you will next head towards Shekwas, which is just a 5 km hike. Next day is the time for you to visit the most awaited place called the Tarsar lake. Here while you are trekking you will also come across a few patches of snow and then you can camp nearby the lake. Then on the next day you will move towards the Sundar Sar lake and reach the Marsar Lake via the Tarsar pass. People usually don’t camp there in Marsar Lake banks so they go back to the Sundar sir or the Tarsar lake area while completing this trek.
Tulip Garden of Srinagar
The Tulip Garden of Srinagar is considered as the largest Tulip garden in Asia which is spread across about 30 acres and is situated in the Zabarwan mountain ranges of Himalayas. Many people flock to the Tulip Garden during the months of March to April as this is the time that tulips blossom. And this is the only time this Garden is open for the visitors. Here you can find the most variety of the Tulips and the number goes up to lakhs.
More than 70 varieties of the tulips can be found here in different shapes and colors. The most interesting thing is that you can also find the black Tulip. The Tulip bulbs are planted in the month of October before the snowfall and as soon as the snow melts the bulbs start coming out. Kashmir tulips represent the arrival of spring season with their most beautiful blossoms. They come with sunshine and bow down during the cold and winter seasons. Seeing these colors in bundles will make you happy so make sure that you visit this place especially in the Spring season.
Gulmarg Tour
The most sought after place people visit in Kashmir is Gulmarg and there are many stay options in Gulmarg where you can stay and enjoy the place all along. After you are all set in with your check in process you will start your exploration in Gulmarg. The first and the most interesting thing is to do the Gondola ride which is also a famous activity in Gulmarg. Pahalgam Tour
From Srinagar you can tour to Pahalgam and Johnny itself is so beautiful that you can find many varieties of trees like the acrode tree, apple trees and also the Kesari crops. After the most beautiful sites of the Srinagar Pahalgam Road you will first land on Aru Valley site, and here you can find some of the most beautiful sites which are covered with snow.
Then you will be heading towards Chandanwadi which is also the base camp of Amarnath Yatra. And here you can also find a river which originates in Sheshnag lake. And then you can move on to Betaab valley, which is also famous for snow activities.
Dal Lake with Shikara Ride
Dal Lake is mostly visited during the summer period but it is also open during the mild winter times. So you can either choose to come either in summer or in winter only to see the most beautiful sites of Dal Lake. During the mild winter times you can expect the Dal Lake to be semi frozen which will allow you to travel along the lake in a Shikara, which is a traditional boat that the Kashmiri people use to travel across the Dal Lake
